Air Conditioning

More than an oil and heating provider, Dutch Oil & Propane offers complete air conditioning service for your home comfort during the warmer months.

Air Conditioning System Installations

Upgrading your existing cooling system can greatly reduce your summer energy costs and your risk of equipment failure. We offer both central air and ductless mini-split air conditioning systems.

More efficient and convenient than conventional room air conditioners, central air conditioning systems offer quiet and even cooling distribution. An added bonus to installing a central A/C system is that the associated ductwork can easily be integrated with most heating systems. If you do not have ductwork in your home, the ductless mini-split system is an excellent alternative for providing consistent, efficient comfort throughout your home. We carry an array of energy-efficient air conditioners including Trane central air conditioning systems and Mitsubishi ductless mini-split systems that focus on concentrated comfort with low energy use.

Our certified HVAC technicians can help you determine which cooling system is best for your home and family. Whether you are looking for a whole-home system or units available for more cooling concentrated areas, the products we supply and install are high quality and highly efficient.

Air Conditioning System Service

Just like a yearly tune-up for your heating system, having one of our skilled and fully-licensed technicians service your cooling equipment before the summer heat is in full force, can provide you with significant savings on your energy bills. An A/C system that runs smoothly reduces the amount of energy needed to operate the equipment, in turn saving your money on your electric bills throughout the summer months.

Our A/C System Tune-Up Consists of the following:

  1. Cleaning or replacing air filter(s) as needed
  2. Checking system pressures and refrigerant charge (r-22, r-410A, etc.)
  3. Cleaning coils (indoor & outdoor)
  4. Checking electrical connections
  5. Lubricating motors and inspecting moving parts
  6.  Adjusting settings for maximum efficiency
